Beard Growth Tracker App
Watch it grow, week by week
The first months of growing a beard are mostly doubt. A weekly photo from the same angle plus a quick length measurement turns that into a timeline with numbers on it: millimetres per week, the day you passed the itchy phase, and a day-one photo to look back at when you wonder if it is working.
A photo and a measurement every Sunday. The rest is patience.
Also called a beard journal, beard progress log or hair growth tracker.
The Beard Growth log, out of the box
One entry per session, with the timer and location always available. Add or rename variables any time in log settings.

From install to first entry in a minute
Pick “Beard Growth” during setup
The log is created with the variables above and a few example entries so you can see how it works. Clear them with one tap.
Log as you go
Tap plus, fill in what you have, save. Timer, location, notes and photos are there when you want them, hidden when you don’t.
Let the stats accumulate
Max length sits on the log card, with the rest one tap away. Set a goal if you want a nudge.
Built for the way you actually do it
Before and after, built in
Every weekly entry carries its photos. Open week one next to week eight and the difference is obvious in a way the mirror never shows.
Growth in millimetres per week
The per-week rate stat tells you your real pace, so you can estimate when you will hit the length you are aiming for instead of guessing.
A Sunday reminder
One reminder a week keeps the photos evenly spaced, which is what makes the timeline comparable.
Not just a form. A logbook that thinks with you.
The Beard Growth log is one log among many you can keep. Every one of them gets the same tools.
AI reads the pattern for you
Tap the bulb on Beard Growth and get a plain-language read of your trends, what changed recently, and a suggested next goal, built only from your own entries.
Goals, streaks and reminders
Set a target like three times a week, watch the rolling progress bar, keep a streak, and get a reminder at the time you actually log. The app learns that time from you.
A calendar heatmap per log
Every log has its own month view showing which days you logged. Gaps are obvious, consistency is visible, and one tap opens that day's entries.
Several rounds in one entry
Every exercise in a workout, every piece in a practice session: logged together in one entry, broken out automatically in the stats.
Photos, sketches, voice memos
Attach a photo, draw a quick sketch, or record a voice note on any entry. They stay with that entry and come back on every device you sign in on.
Every entry on a map
Drop a pin or search for the place. Each log has a map view of everywhere you logged, and saved places open directly in Google Maps.
Search across everything
Find an entry by title, note or value across every log, filter by date or location, and jump straight to it.
Yours, offline first
Entries save on your phone first and sync when you sign in. No account needed to start, no feed, no one else sees your data.
Who tracks beard growth
Anyone growing a beard for the first time, people coming back from a shave who want to compare with the last attempt, and those using minoxidil or similar who want to know whether it is working rather than hoping.
The method is a weekly photo and a number. It takes a minute on Sunday and makes the slow weeks bearable.
What two months of entries show
Growth rate in millimetres per week is a number most people have never measured for themselves; knowing it means you can predict when you will reach a target length. The itch score charts the phase everyone warns about and shows when it passes.
The photos are the real payoff. Week one next to week eight, same angle and same light, settles the “is it working” question for good.
Frequently asked
How should I measure length?
Pull a few hairs straight on the cheek and measure with a ruler, or use a beard comb with markings. Same spot every week matters more than precision.
Can I track products or trims?
Yes. Add a text variable such as “Product” or “Trim” to the log, or write it in the notes. It shows up on the timeline next to the photo.
Does this work for hair growth, or after a hair transplant?
Yes. Rename the log and the variables. The weekly photo plus a measurement is the same method.
