☕ Coffee Tour

Coffee Shop Log App

Your café tour, rated and mapped

Search for the café, give it a rating and enter what you paid. Each café gets its own line in the stats, so you can settle which one really makes the best flat white, and the map shows everywhere you have been.

Which café, how good, how much — with the place saved on a map.

Also called a café tracker, coffee journal or café diary.

What the Coffee Tour log looks like

A real screenshot, not a mockup: the stats up top, a breakdown per café, the streak and the calendar heatmap, with the entries below. Every number comes from the entries you add.

How it works

From install to first entry in a minute

1

Pick “Coffee Tour” during setup

The log is created with the variables above and a few example entries so you can see how it works. Clear them with one tap.

2

Log as you go

Tap plus, fill in what you have, save. Timer, location, notes and photos are there when you want them, hidden when you don’t.

3

Let the stats accumulate

Average rating sits on the log card, with the rest one tap away. Set a goal if you want a nudge.

Why this log

Built for the way you actually do it

Find the place, not the pin

Search by name and the café is saved with its address. Tap it later to open directions in Google Maps.

A rating per café

The "Café" variable is tracked individually, so the stats screen lists every café with its average rating, visits and last visit.

Nearby suggestions

Standing on a new street? The nearby search lists cafés within a short walk so the tour keeps going.

Everything else in the app

Not just a form. A logbook that thinks with you.

The Coffee Tour log is one log among many you can keep. Every one of them gets the same tools.

💡AI analysis

AI reads the pattern for you

Tap the bulb on Coffee Tour and get a plain-language read of your trends, what changed recently, and a suggested next goal, built only from your own entries.

🎯Goals

Goals, streaks and reminders

Set a target like three times a week, watch the rolling progress bar, keep a streak, and get a reminder at the time you actually log. The app learns that time from you.

📅Calendar

A calendar heatmap per log

Every log has its own month view showing which days you logged. Gaps are obvious, consistency is visible, and one tap opens that day's entries.

🔁Rounds

Several cafés in one entry

One entry can hold a round per café, each with its own values, and the stats break them out separately.

📷Attachments

Photos, sketches, voice memos

Attach a photo, draw a quick sketch, or record a voice note on any entry. They stay with that entry and come back on every device you sign in on.

🗺️Map

Every entry on a map

Drop a pin or search for the place. Each log has a map view of everywhere you logged, and saved places open directly in Google Maps.

🔍Search

Search across everything

Find an entry by title, note or value across every log, filter by date or location, and jump straight to it.

🔒Privacy

Yours, offline first

Entries save on your phone first and sync when you sign in. No account needed to start, no feed, no one else sees your data.

Who keeps a café log

People new to a city who want to work through its cafés methodically, anyone with a favourite-place argument to settle with a partner, and travellers who want a record of where they sat and what it cost.

The same log shape works for bars, bakeries, ramen shops or bookshops: a place, a rating, a price.

What the log tells you after twenty cafés

The per-café breakdown sorts your favourites by visits and by rating, which are not always the same list. The average price per visit turns a vague sense of “coffee is getting expensive” into a number per month.

The map shows the neighbourhoods you have covered and the ones you have not. Nearby search fills the gaps when you are standing on a new street.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is this only for coffee?

No. Rename the log and the "Café" variable and use it for bars, ramen, bakeries or bookshops. Place search works the same.

Does place search cost extra?

Place search and nearby suggestions are part of the premium plan because every lookup costs real money. Dropping a pin on the map is free.

Can I see my top-rated places?

Yes. The per-café breakdown is sorted by visits and shows the average rating, so your favourites float to the top.
