Who keeps a fishing log
Anglers who fish the same few waters and want to learn them properly, people chasing a personal best who need a record that is not a memory, and anyone who has argued about the size of last year’s pike.
It works for coarse, fly, sea or ice fishing; the species and the spot are the constants.
What a season on the water shows
Catches per session and per spot separate the productive water from the pleasant water. Per-species maximums are your record book. The notes on conditions, read back in spring, are a better guide than any forecast.
Photos with each catch turn the log into the album you actually look at, with the weight and the date already attached.

Frequently asked
How do I log a blank session?
Save an entry with the timer and the spot and no rounds. Blanks are data too; the spot’s catch rate depends on them.
Can I track bait, lure or rig?
Add a text variable such as “Bait” to each round. If you mark it as tracked individually instead of species, you get stats per bait.
Is the location shared with anyone?
No. Your spots stay in your account. There is no public map and no feed.
